BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) – Officials say a Connecticut man who admitted to engaging in sexual acts with minors and producing child pornography is headed to prison.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 65-year-old Mark Irvin, of Meriden, was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years behind bars. He pleaded guilty in August to production of child pornography.

Prosecutors say Irvin engaged in sexual acts with two male juveniles under the age of 18 on multiple occasions between 2012 and August 2015. Prosecutors say Irvin installed and operated a video camera and a digital video recording device at his home to record the sexual activity.

Authorities searched Irvin’s home in September 2015 and seized several computers, hard drives, electronic storage media and the digital video recording device. Irvin was arrested that month.
