A group in California launched a recall campaign to remove a judge from his seat.
They put up a billboard that reads: “Protect survivors, not rapists.”
The message’s goal is to remove judge Aaron Persky from his office.
This comes after Persky’s controversial decision to sentence former Stanford swimmer Brock Turner to six months in prison for raping a girl while she was unconscious.
