Bimbo bakeries is issuing a recall for Entenmann’s Little Bitse snacks.
The recall comes after consumers complained of finding plastic bits in the dessert treats.
At least one injury was reported.
The recall affects Little Bites fudge brownies and chocolate chip muffins with a “best by” date of Oct. 8 and variety packs with a “best by” date of Sept. 24.
All of the affected products were shipped to retailers in at least 30 states within the past two weeks.
Bimbo Bakeries said it traced the problem to a manufacturing failure at a contractor’s bakery in Illinois.
