Kellogg’s has issued a voluntary recall of Eggo waffles following listeria concerns.

The company announced the recall Monday.

Approximately 10,000 Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles have been recalled because they have the potential to be contaminated with listeria.

No other Eggo products are impacted by the recall.

Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people.

The company has received no reports of illness to date.

Recalled products were distributed to customers in 25 states.
