FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (WHDH) — Police in Florida are searching for a murder suspect who escaped from a courthouse Friday.
Authorities said Dayonte Resiles, 21, jumped out of a jury box and ran out of the courtroom.
They said he got out of his handcuffs and shackles and left his jumpsuit in the hallway.
Aerial video shows police surrounding the building and searching downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Resiles was charged with killing a woman in 2014.
