TYNGSBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - BERLIN (NBC) — Santa Claus climbed down the outside of a skyscraper in Germany on Sunday to deliver presents to children.

Santa made a surprise early appearance with his unconventional entrance at a cafe in Berlin.

After a sack of presents dropped from his sleigh, Santa made a pit-stop at the Kollhoff Tower to retrieve it.

Santa used a rickety rope ladder to descend about 100 yards to the cafe on the 24th floor.

The children watched in excitement as he greeted them through the windows before making his way inside to distribute presents.
