LAWRENCE, MASS. (WHDH) - LAWRENCE, MA (WHDH) – Massachusetts State officials announced a $5,000 reward for any information in connection with a suspicious fire at a Lawrence night club.
Officials said someone drove up to the back door of Club Attika on Mill Street, where a fire was lit. People inside said they smelled an accelerant and a flash could be seen on surveillance video.
The kitchen staff ran outside and put out the fire with an extinguisher. The club’s owner said more than 100 people were inside at the time.
Police are investigating the fire as arson, and said they believe the suspect drove away in a gold Honda. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lawrence Police.
