MIAMI BEACH (NBC) — A stolen yacht crashed into the Miami Beach Marina late Sunday night.
Investigators have begun searching for the driver who abandoned the 80-foot vessel after it hit a dock.
Several other boats that were docked nearby were also damaged.
Witnesses said they saw the driver jump into the water to get away.
Crews searched the water around the marina and didn’t find anymore.
No one on the dock was injured.
While investigating the crash, crews found that another boat docked had been tampered with—possibly in a failed attempt steal it.
