The man who allegedly tried to bring a gun to the White House could face up to 20 years in prison.

A secret service officer shot him after they say he refused to drop his weapon.

Surveillance video shows the 31-year-old man walking up to the South entrance of the White House last month.

Officers ordered the man to stop. When he refused to follow the order, one officer shot him.

White House security made a good decision, experts said.

President Obama was not at the White House at the time.

The suspect now faces a felony charge for resisting an officer with a dangerous weapon.
