(NBC) — A team of vets in Zimbabwe rescued a wild rhino on Saturday after the animal was found with a tire stuck over its snout.

According to Sky News, the tire had been dumped in a watering hole at Lake Chivero Recreational Park.

The rhino, known as “Mark” by park workers, was unable to eat or drink after the tire became stuck.

Vets from the Aware Trust charity were alerted by rangers, who came and tranquilized the rhino before removing the tire.
