One of the victims involved in a deadly Newton crash is on the road to recovery.
Casey Vaughan was working as the manager at "Sweet Tomatoes" pizza restaurant when an SUV crashed into the building last Tuesday.
The crash killed two people and injured seven.
Vaughan’s mother says her daughter is out of the hospital and now in a rehab facility.
The family hopes Vaughan will be walking on her own again soon.
Police shut down a busy intersection near the restaurant Wednesday as they took new measurements.
The investigation is ongoing.
