Friends and loved ones sang, prayed and remembered the victims killed in the Oklahoma City bombing 21 years ago Tuesday.

On April 19, 1995, a federal building was bombed in the city, killing 168 people. Among the dead were 19 children. Flowers and balloons were left at a memorial that now stands where the building once was.

Timothy McVeigh detonated a truck full of homemade explosives in front of the building. He told police he wanted revenge against the government. McVeigh was executed for the bombing back in 2001.
