Legislation signed Monday by California Gov. Jerry Brown will give minors the ability to request that online services like Twitter and Facebook remove all of their posts.
The goal of the law is to prevent young people from being haunted by their digital pasts, but there are some limits. For one, the law doesn't cover content posted by other users.
