LAWRENCE, MASS. (WHDH) - Police in Lawrence issued a warrant for a mother who overdosed in the aisle of a store next to her young child.
Police said the warrant was issued because Mandy McGowan, from Salem, New Hampshire, missed her court date.
McGowan was filmed at a dollar store in Lawrence after she passed out from an apparent heroin overdose. Her daughter was seen crying next to her and trying to wake her up.
McGowan’s daughter was taken into state custody.
