An armed robber and female store clerk were caught on camera trading gunfire inside a convenience store in Washington.
Surveillance video showed the clerk starting to give him the money, but when he looked away, she pulled out a gun.
Police said the two fired at each other almost simultaneously.
The clerk was hit by the bullet and taken to the hospital.
The accused gunman was charged with first degree robbery and assault.
