Just one week ago, it looked as if two unbeaten teams would run away in the standings.

Now, it looks like things could tighten very quickly.

Tim Caputo, previously 6-0, and Joe Amorosino, then 5-0-1, looked ready to roll past the rest of the league. We admit – we even cheated and peeked forward to see when these two were playing.

But while Caputo and Amorosino are still at the top of the standings, neither is unbeaten any longer. Caputo fell in a 116-97 loss to Nicole Oliverio, while Joe Amorosino earned his first loss of the year in an 88-86 loss to Dan Hausle.

The standings tightened even further in the middle grouping as well – five teams are now 3-4 on the season (and one, Jeremy Reiner, is 2-4-1) after this week’s standings. Alex Corddry, Pete Bouchard, Oliverio, Kris Anderson, and Brandon Gunnoe all moved to 3-4 on the season.

Corddry was the week’s high scorer, dropping 133 points on Pete Bouchard in her lopsided victory. Her score bested that of Kris Anderson by one point – he toppled Jeremy Reiner, 132-79, and then tweeted about it to taunt his opponent.

Brandon Gunnoe also moved to 3-4 with a win over the now-hapless Trey Daerr (1-6).
