After day after day of clouds and rain, we finally welcome back the sunshine just in time for the weekend to start.
Not only will the blue skies be back with us today, but so will the temps in the 60s! Overall, a perfect day for trying to sneak in one of the last rounds of golf this season, or even getting some yard work done around the house. If raking leaves are on the to-do list, make sure you bag up those piles of leave today before they get blown back all over the yard tomorrow (although, that active wind will knock down more leaves anyway).
The gusty winds tomorrow are behind a cold front that passes through tonight. We won’t see much moisture with this front, just an isolated sprinkle or brief passing shower that slides through a couple hours either side of midnight.
Not only will the wind gust to 25-30mph tomorrow, but temps are a bit cooler once again as highs run into the mid to upper 50s under a mix of clouds and sun. All and all, a pretty good football day out at Gillette tomorrow, although some of those tailgating flags and tents will certainly be shaking in the breeze.
If this weekend’s not warm enough for you, just wait until Tuesday and Wednesday as the numbers surge back into the upper 60s, if not close to 70 by Wednesday. Wednesday also features more clouds, and perhaps an isolated shower with the next cool front moving in.
By the end of the week, cooler air oozes in for Halloween with highs in the 50s and trick or treat weather in the 40s. The pattern is a bit challenging into next weekend as it’s a close call weather a couple pieces of energy can merge and give us some unsettled weather overnight Friday, through Saturday. Stay tuned for that one. One thing is for sure, it looks chilly next weekend. Highs Saturday likely won’t get out of the 40s.
Have a good weekend and go Pats!!!!!!!!!!!
