WESTPORT, MASS. (WHDH) - A Westport woman was arrested for allegedly stealing her ex-boyfriend’s dog.
Police said Angela Benetti, 39, told her ex-boyfriend that his dog went missing from his house back in May. Instead, Benetti allegedly stole 7-year-old Jet and brought him to a shelter in Rhode Island.
Benetti was charged with larceny over $250. She is due back in court in August.
