WEYMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) - Weymouth Police are warning residents that a fox in the area has tested positive for rabies.
Police said the fox was involved in an altercation with a dog in a fenced-in yard.
Pet owners should make sure their pets are vaccinated for rabies, a deadly disease that can be passed to humans from animals.
Police warn residents to keep an eye on their pets, even if they are in a fenced-in yard.
