Now if your roof is holding up just fine for now – there are things you can do to prepare for any possible problems in the future:
Dig out your insurance policy and check your coverageMake sure you have the phone numbers to report problemsInventory your household items in photos or videosKeep your policy and those photos in a safe place
If you have to do some emergency repairs–getting a tarp or shoveling out–make sure you keep all the receipts–your insurance may cover that too.
