What’s Cooking: Lamb Chili

Lamb Chili

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of Ground Beef
  • 1 lb of Ground Lamb
  • 1 Med Diced Onion
  • 1 Med Diced Bell Pepper
  • ¼ tbsp Chipotle Puree
  • ½ tbsp. Cumin
  • ½ tbsp. Chili Powder and Chili flakes
  • 1 can of Black Beans
  • 1 can of Corn
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • 1 btl of hard Cider
  • 1 cup of water

Method:

  1. Cook ground meat
  2. Put meat aside
  3. Discard Fat
  4. Sautee peppers and onions until soft
  5. Add meat back into pan and all spices
  6. Add hard Cider and simmer for 20 minutes
  7. Add all remaining ingredients
  8. Simmer for one hour
  9. Add salt and pepper
  10. Cool immediately.
