The Yarmouth Police Department had a special visitor on Monday during the nice weather.
Around 10:30 a.m., the Yarmouth Police and Natural Resources Departments were called to Thatcher Beach on South Shore Drive after a citizen’s concern over a white seal pup she found lying on the beach.
Officers checked out the pup and determined everything was fine.
"The pup was just taking a break and enjoying the view and warmth of the sun," the department posted on Facebook.
