BOSTON (WHDH) - Some of Whitey Bulger’s personal possessions are going up for auction.

Next week, the public will get a chance to bid on items owned by the notorious mobster, and the proceeds are going to the survivors and families.

Hundreds of Bulger’s and his girlfriend Catherine Greig’s forfeited prized possessions will be sold to the highest bidder.

Items include a long list of jewelry including a skull ring, a replica 1986 Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup ring, and a Claddagh ring.

Many of the items were taken from Bulger’s Santa Monica apartment, where he Greig were captured in 2011 after being on the run for 17 years.

Federal prosecutors said the proceeds will be given to survivors and the families of the victims of the South Boston mobster.

During his 2013 trial, Bulger was found guilty of racketeering and was ordered to pay more than $25 million, which prosecutors said he earned during his time as a criminal.

The auction is set for June 25 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
