A Peabody shop owner is trying to sell the orange prison jumpsuit James "Whitey" Bulger reportedly wore when he was convicted in 2013.
Shop owner Phil Castinetti says the top bid at the moment is $25,000.
The owner says Bulger gave the jumpsuit to his cellmate as a way to make some money. The former cellmate sold it to the shop owner, according to the shop owner.
A signature that appears to be Bulger’s is on the back side of the jumpsuit along with his prison identification number.
The shop owner says Bulger gave it to the cellmate as a way to make some money.
