Boston Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks and former team reporter Jenny Dell are now engaged.
Dell posted a video to Youtube Monday, show footage from the surprise party to celebrate the engagement.
On Twitter, Dell wrote: “Best night of my life.” Her Instagram followers saw one of the first pictures of the engagement ring.
The couple have been dating since last year.
Dell now works for CBS Sports as an NFL sideline reporter.
