BELOIT, Wisc. (WHDH) — Residents in a Wisconsin neighborhood said they are upset after a wild police chase came through their neighborhood, leaving damage in its wake.

Police were chasing 24-year-old Lamont Baskin, who is wanted on three warrants. As police chased Baskin through the neighborhood, he hit two vehicles before coming to a landing on Debra Rogers’ front lawn.

“They shouldn’t be chasing somebody that fast. It looked like NASCAR coming down, swerving all over the roads,” said Rogers.

No one was injured during the chase. The police department defended the officers’ decision to chase Baskin and get him off the streets.
