WOBURN, MASS. (WHDH) - Snow did not deter some shoppers from hitting the stores for holiday gifts in Woburn on Thursday.

Several people who braved the elements said their strategy was to go out when everyone was staying home to avoid potential crowds.

“There will be nobody out here and therefore we are out here,” Deb McNeil said.

“We just figured that probably not a lot of people would come today since the weather, so it would be a perfect time to get in there with not a lot of interaction,” Haley Drakoulakos said.
