TAUNTON, MASS. (WHDH) - A 19-year-old Taunton woman that has been charged in a deadly hit-and-run appeared in court on Monday.
Police say Cecily Kilsby-Munafo was driving when she allegedly hit a man riding his bicycle and fled the scene on Thursday.
The victim, Michael Alfano, 36 of Taunton, was a father of two. Alfano’s girlfriend, Shannon DiNinno, is pregnant with his third child.
According to officials, Munafo has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident with death resulting and misleading police.
Munafo’s boyfriend, 26-year-old Ryan O’Day of Bridgewater, has been charged with being accessory after the fact.
Alfano was rushed to Morton Hospital before being taken by medical hospital to Brigham & Women’s Hospital, where he later died.
