EASTON, MASS. (WHDH) - A Providence, Rhode Island woman is speaking out after she unknowingly drove 45 minutes to work with a naked man sleeping in her back seat.

“I don’t know how to put it into words,” said Amanda Kean. “It really took a minute for my mind to, like, really understand what I was seeing.”

Kean is an overnight delivery driver for Honey Dew donuts in Easton. After her commute from Rhode Island late Sunday, including a stop for gas, she heard something in the car that wasn’t her podcast.

“All of a sudden, I heard moaning,” she said.

She said she rolled down her window, heard the sound again and realized the sound was coming from inside her truck. When she turned around, she noticed the naked sleeping man. She said he was sleeping with his head on the side of the back of the front seat. He had pulled her rain jacket over himself as a makeshift blanket.

“Never anything I could have ever imagined happening,” she said. “It’s things you see on TV.” She added that the incident made her feel like her privacy was invaded.

Easton Police said the man must’ve entered her car in Providence, and Kean thinks it may have happened while she was bringing in groceries.

“The 911 operator was like, ‘What?’ Even he was, like, flabbergasted,” she said.

Police said the man was Jose Osorio, 21, of Providence. He was extremely intoxicated at the time, and police later learned he had consumed alcohol and marijuana earlier in the evening. Police said they found him with a pair of shorts around his leg and a shirt around his arm. He’s been charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle.

“I’m lucky that it wasn’t more than just a naked guy in my back seat,” Kean said. “It made me a little more thankful for, you know, life, because it could have been really bad.”
