AQUIDNECK ISLAND, R.I. (WHDH) — Thousands of people have signed an online petition to save a neighborhood coyote in Rhode Island.
The coyote, named Cliff, has been hanging around the neighborhood in Aquidneck Island mostly because people who live nearby keep feeding him. Officials said this is dangerous and they have asked a hunter to come and shoot him.
Residents said they do not want Cliff killed. So far, more than 23,000 signatures have been collected to save Cliff.
