Worcester police are investigating a hit-and-run over the weekend.
On Sunday around 12:37 p.m., Worcester Police responded to Quinsigamond Avenue for a report of a hit-and-run crash involving two pedestrians.
When officers arrived, they found a 58-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man lying in the road suffering from injuries after they were struck by a car.
Officers spoke with witnesses while the two victims were tended to by EMS personnel.
According to police, the victims suffered from leg, head, chest and abdominal injuries.
The two were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The man was treated at the hospital and released. The woman has been admitted and is now being treated.
The investigation is ongoing.
