WORCESTER, Mass. (WHDH) – Police are warning citizens about two separate incidents where a man has approached teenage girls on their way to and from school.
Police said that this has happened two times within the past week.
One teen said that she saw a man watching her from across the street while she waited for the bus near City Hall. She said that it was the same man who followed her to the stop last month while making inappropriate comments.
A second incident happened on Crystal St. where a man chased two students walking home from school.
The suspect in both incidents has been described as a middle-aged Hispanic male with a medium build and an unshaven face.
Police are unsure if the two cases are related.
"The chief of police will take care of it. I have complete confidence in him. If the public wants to keep aware as long as we can get a description out to them I think we’ll be fine,” Worcester Mayor Joseph Petty said.
If anyone has information about these incidents they are asked to contact the Worcester Police Detective Bureau at (508) 799-8651.
