WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts woman has been charged with sexually assaulting a pre-teen boy.

The Telegram & Gazette reports that 49-year-old Laurie Perro, of Worcester, was held on $20,000 bail after pleading not guilty Tuesday to charges including aggravated child rape and several other charges.

Prosecutors say the alleged assaults occurred between September 2016 and June 2017 when the boy was 10 or 11 years old.

Authorities say Perro participated with her husband in the sexual assaults. A warrant has been issued for his arrest on related charges.

Perro is also facing kidnapping charges in connection with two other juveniles.

Her lawyer asked for lower bail saying his client is not a flight risk and she denies the allegations.
