WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Bret Hart revealed to fans that he is battling prostate cancer.

Hart posted on his Instagram page that in the next few days he will undergo surgery "with the hope of defeating this nemesis once and for all."

This is not the first time Hart has faced health problems. In 2002 the wrestler suffered a stroke.

Hart is 58 years old. He is a 7-time world champion and was one of the biggest stars of the former WWF. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006.

Hart teamed with Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, The British Bulldog, Brian Pillman, and his brother Owen to form the "Hart Foundation."

Owen Hart died in May 1999 after a stunt went wrong in during a pay-per-view event in Kansas City, MO. Owen was killed when he fell into the ring as he was being lowered from the rafters of Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Mo.
