Stellar day! Tons of sun and dry air. Sea breezes brought in some humidity along the coast, but it still remained within tolerable limits.
I'm expecting another winner tomorrow with equal amounts of sun and a small bump in the temperatures…which means we'll have a few towns and cities come in just under 90.
And here we're all pushing for a hot stretch early next week. Yes, that's still in the 90s, but 88° isn't too far from that either.
Last night had mixed opinions on the Perseid Meteor Shower. Some saw many meteors, others were left wanting. If you missed it last night, here's a shot of a few meteors around Sandwich:

There's still time to see them too. Should be out tonight after dark. Just look up and most importantly stay away from city lights!
Speaking of the city, we're gonna bake next week as a big area of high pressure parks itself overhead and chases the fronts and thunder away. Urban centers will sizzle as highs soar near 90 and dewpoints rise to the low 70s. Conceivably, we could see some Heat Advisories across parts of Southern New England. Get ready.
Weekend weather is nice and toasty, but not without a shower or storm threat. Nothing pressing and nothing to cancel plans over. Chances are around 30% for Saturday afternoon, but nil for Sunday as that high snuffs out any chances for the clouds to grow into storms.
