Systems are zipping along this week leading to rapid-fire changes & it’s no different moving forward as our next storm takes aim on us by late tomorrow night & Saturday. Between now & then we have some dry weather to enjoy. Today offers a mix of sun & clouds with a fiesty breeze at times. That wind will make it feel like the mid 30s this afternoon even though the temps will reach the low 40s. Skies are partly cloudy this evening with a diminishing wind.
Tomorrow features a few more clouds around but less wind. When outside, I’ll take more clouds/less wind any day (that wind is the real enemy this time of year–that and cranky Holiday Shoppers) of the week–inc Tuesdays! Temps tomorrow hang out in the upper 30s for much of the afternoon. Those clouds are out in front of our next storm which moves into New England tomorrow night & hangs with us on Saturday. No arctic air in place so we’re talking just raindrops tomorrow night & through the day on Saturday. Saturday temps are in the 40s. Sunday sees a return to sunshine but also that chilly wind with temps in the 30s (wind chills in the upper 20s).
Long range into early next week suggests a storm that tries to form offshore. As of now it looks like it’s too far offshore to become a major playa but the risk will be there for some coastal rain/inland snow on Tuesday. Stay tuned.
