After losing to the duos of Shem V Goh and Kiong Wee Tan from Malaysia in their previous match, Americans Phillip Chew and Sattawat Pongnairat squared up against Michael Fuchs and Johannes Schottler from Germany on Saturday morning. The results, however, stayed the same for the doubles’ duo as they lost 21-14 in both games, eliminating them from the tournament. While the tournament did not turn out for the Americans as they would have liked, the inexperienced pairing can only learn from these opportunities and improve for their next competitions.
