Table tennis will see three team semifinals on Monday, with Chinese players appearing in both the men’s and women’s competitions.
The day’s first session will feature the only female semifinal, China vs. Singapore. London 2012 singles gold medalist Li Xiaoxia and Rio 2016 singles gold medalist make the Chinese team a heavy favorite. The match will appear on NBCOlympics.com at approximately 9:00 AM ET.
At approximately 2 PM ET, Japan and Germany will square off in a men’s team semfinal. Dimitrij Ovtcharov’s unique serve will likely make an appearance.
