Team USA’s Connor Fields flew out of the gate and led from start to finish during the men’s BMX finals. Fields will take home the gold medal after finishing 7th in London.
Dutch BMXer Jelle van Gorkom sped past Fields’ teammate Nic Long during the final berm to nab the silver medal.
Carlos Alberto Ramirez Yepes of Colombia edged out Long in a photo finish to win the bronze. Long ended up in 4th place.
