WINDSOR, CT (WHDH) — Cell phone video captured the flames that jumped from unit to unit at a condo complex in Connecticut.
People inside one building heard the alarms and saw the smoke, but it was only after safely escaping they realized the horror that was quickly unfolding.
Everyone was able to get out, though a person in the unit where the fire appears to have started was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK.
Four firefighters were injured; two went to the hospital for treatment.
Eight condos were either damaged or destroyed.
The American Red Cross helped potentially dozens of people find a place to stay and get back on their feet.
