DUXBURY, Vt. (WHDH) — Hundreds of people attended a memorial service at a Vermont high school to honor five teens killed in a car crash earlier this month.

The memorial service was held at the Harwood Union High School gym in Duxbury. Students and faculty members took turns sharing their memories of the five victims. The service also featured musical performances,

The five teens killed were 16-year-old Mary Harris, 16-year-old Cyrus Zschau, 16-year-old Liam Hale, 15-year-old Janie Cozzi and 16-year-old Eli Brookens. Four of the students were juniors at the high school, while the fifth attended school in New Hampshire.

The teens were killed when police said their car was hit by a wrong-way driver and then burst into flames. The wrong-way driver survived and is now facing charges.
