Pete Carroll and Bill Belichick are two coaches with a lot in common, they both have coached teams to a Super Bowl, they both are on their second chances in the league and they both have coached the Patriots.

What differentiates the two of them is their coaching style.

Carroll appears fun and outgoing for Belichick it’s quite the opposite.

“You’re talking about two different styles of coaches but you’re talking about two of the best in the game, you’re talking about Coach Belichick and Coach Carroll,” Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson said.

What makes the different is what makes them great and gives them what they need to win.

“He’s consistent, you know what you’re going to get from him each day, whether that’s player coach or strict hard coach,” Patriots safety Devin McCourty said.

“To play for Coach Carroll is one of the greatest gifts you can play in the NFL. A guy that allows you to be yourself,” Wilson said.

Carroll’s players reflect laid back personality of their coach and the city they play in.

“I love Coach Carroll so much because he’s so consistent. His positive mentality, his positive approach to the game allows us to rise,” Wilson said.

“If you see our team and you think that they looked relaxed, they are to a certain extent. They are thrilled to be in this situation, they can’t wait to go play this game,” Carroll said.

Belichick, on the other hand, is stoic, dry and always to the point

“I love coach to death, what you see is what you get,” Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman said.

“That’s really what this game is about it’s about players making the plays that your team needs to win. We have a lot of them who have done that and I think as a coach you want to make sure you don’t screw that up,” Belichick said.

The coaches are both putting their styles to the test this weekend when they square off in Super Bowl XLIX.

You can watch the game on 7NBC with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST.
