Canadian sports network TSN is reporting that Boston will host the NHL Winter Classic in 2016.
There’s no word whether the game would return to Fenway Park or be held at Gillette Stadium.
This would be the second time the Bruins hosted an outdoor hockey game. The team beat the Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway back in 2010.
An official announcement is not expected until next year.
