According to The Hollywood Reporter, Red Sox slugger David Ortiz will recreate the speech he delivered at Fenway Park days after the Boston Marathon bombing.

The publication’s exclusive report says Ortiz will shoot a scene for Mark Wahlberg’s movie, "Patriot’s Day" that depicts when Ortiz delivered his famous "This is our (bleeping) city" speech in front of the Fenway faithful.

The speech received widespread acclaim, including from the FCC (despite the expletive) and from President Obama, who called the moment one of the proudest moments of his time as commander-in-chief.

The Hollywood Reporter says the filming won’t take place at Fenway Park but rather at a hanger at the South Weymouth Naval Air Station – the same place where other scenes were filmed in April.

It is unclear when Ortiz will begin filming for the movie, due to the Red Sox’ busy schedule.

Ortiz, 40, who announced that he will retire following this season, is in the midst of another strong season, batting .317 with 5 HR and 19 RBI.
