BOSTON (WHDH)– It was a super send-off earlier today at the Garden as hundreds of fans cheered for the Bruins as they left for Chicago.

“Just for them to come out here and support us and send us off, it's a good feeling,” said Johnny Boychuk.

“It's crazy. Just great to have the support, and we’re lucky, I guess,” said Dennis Seidenberg.

“It's gives us energy going into to Chicago,” Patrice Bergeron said.

“We're very excited. Gonna be the biggest game of our lives. We're looking to get it going,” said Brad Marchand. “Yeah, we're getting a little tired but the excitement and adrenaline take over so it’s not a problem.”

Just listen to ironman Tuukka Rask.

“It's still the finals, you find the energy no matter what,” Rask said.

The young one said he's loving the overtime.

“Anytime there's extra hockey it's good for us, and good for the sport

Lots of fun,” Krug said.

“It's special. Drives us more to win the cup for the fans,” Jaromir Jagr said.

Since the first send-off was held inside the Garden, only a thousand people were allowed in. This time, being outside, 2,500 people showed up!

“Can't afford playoff tickets so here we are,” one Bruins fan said.

“It's a lot hotter, gotta take my jacket off soon. It's just nice to see everyone and meet new faces,” Tyler Seguin said.

“Everybody was ready for a hard series, a tight series and that's what it is,” said Andrew Ference.

“We've done it once, so we have to do our best to do it again,” Zdeno Chara said.

“It's pretty cool, pretty cool,” said David Krejci.
