FOXBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - The Patriots held their first full practice of the week Wednesday, and while one notable name was on the field, another was not.

Rob Gronkowski, who missed Sunday’s game against the 49ers with a chest injury, was back on the field and was listed as a limited participant in practice.

But a concern for the 8-2 Patriots includes quarterback Tom Brady, who did not participate in practice after battling a left knee injury.

Brady took a hit in the Patriots’ 30-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in which he appeared to injure the knee.

Brady finished the game and was named the AFC Player of the Week for the second time this season. He threw for 280 yards and 4 touchdowns in the game.

Matthew Slater also missed practice Wednesday with a foot injury. Other limited participants included Martellus Bennett, Chris Hogan and Julian Edelman.

The Patriots play the 3-7 Jets in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
