MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are expected to play Friday when the Miami Heat host the Boston Celtics.

All three have recently missed time because of injuries or illness. James has dealt with a strained right hamstring, Wade has been bothered by bone bruises near his right knee and Bosh had flu-like symptoms this week.

Shane Battier and Udonis Haslem will not play Friday. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says Battier has an array of minor aches, and Haslem has a sprained ankle.

The Heat have already secured the No. 1 overall seed for the entire NBA playoffs.

Boston will be without starting forwards Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett because of ankle soreness. They are both expected to play Saturday when the Celtics visit Orlando.
