The Boston Bruins have signed forward David Krejci to a 6-year extension, according to a press release sent out on Thursday.

Krejci, 28, who led the Bruins in scoring last season with 69 points, will be with the team through the 2020-21 season with an annual salary cap of $7.25 million.

The Czech Republic native, who was drafted by the Bruins in 2004, scored 19 goals and had 50 assists last season while accruing an NHL best plus 39 rating.

In total, he’s played 504 NHL games with Boston and has 110 goals and 268 assists to his record.
