The TODAY Show has set up shop in a major way at the Sochi Olympics.

The anchors talked with 7’s Nancy Chen and told her about some challenges they’ve faced.

Willie Geist said the language barrier has made travel a bit tricky. Matt Lauer on the other hand, downloaded an iPhone app to help him with his Russian.

Geist shared a few words too. “Privet” means “hello,” “do svadania” is “goodbye” and “spacibo” means “thank you.”
