The Patriots confirmed that defensive end Chandler Jones was taken to the hospital on Sunday and released the same day.

According to the Foxborough Police log, Jones walked into the Foxborough Public Safety Building with a medical emergency on Sunday. Four officers, along with firefighters, did a medical evaluation in the building’s back parking lot. Jones was then taken to Norwood Hospital. It is not known what kind of medical emergency Jones was having.

In a statement, the Patriots told 7News, "Chandler Jones was admitted to the hospital Sunday and released that day. He reported to work on time Monday morning and has participated in all meetings and practices since then."
